Who We Are
Northbound Cafe began as a small roadside farm stand at the Knik River Bridge in Palmer in 2021. What started with a simple goal — bringing fresh, local food to the community — has since grown into a traveling mobile café serving communities across Alaska.
Whether parked in a small rural community, at a local market, or along the roadside, the goal remains the same: to bring fresh food, warm coffee, and a little piece of Alaska to the people they serve.

Founded by Chris and Emily Roady in 2021
Northbound Cafe is built around more than coffee.
Living off grid in Alaska, they understand firsthand the challenges many Alaskans face when it comes to access, affordability, and fresh food.
Chris and Emily are passionate foragers and lifelong lovers of Alaska’s wild harvests.
Northbound Cafe offers coffee, fresh produce, foraged foods, baked goods, honey, and locally sourced products from farmers, bakers, restaurants, beekeepers, and other Alaskan vendors.

What areas do you deliver to?
We deliver to Anchorage, Wasilla, Houston, Butte, Willow, Talkeetna, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Chugiak, Peters Creek, and surrounding areas. We are currently unable to ship outside of Alaska at this time.
I'd like to purchase wholesale, how do I request an order?

Do you operate in winter?
Yes. We operate all year round for coffee & food. Berries are August - October. * Depending on weather conditions may be August - September.
Do you deliver to Anchorage?
Yes. We deliver to Anchorage.
I have a special day coming up ( wedding, baby shower, ect. ) how can I secure an order ahead of time?
Please use our contact form If you have a special occasion coming up and need to secure an order, please let us know at least 1 week ahead of time with your day and time you would like the delivery or pick-up set.
Can I taste the berries before I buy them?
Yes! Quality is our standard, and we are excited to share that with you.
